Deep sleep can drop discovery. Disable Deep Sleep in the network menu for busy offices, or wake the device before large jobs. Re-add via IP if Bonjour/WSD flaps.

Toner and drum messaging

Brother separates toner and drum life. Replace the part the panel names. Reset procedures differ by model â€” use Brotherâ€™s instructions for your exact HL/MFC code.

Paper feed & rear jam

Open the rear cover to clear duplex/jam paths. Fan A4 paper and set the paper size correctly in both tray and driver to stop false jam alerts.
